We created and maintain this guide for our friends who have an interest in Paris and because of our love for the "City of Light." This is not a commercial site, and is not intended for the general public. The content of the site reflects our tastes and interests. There are very few bargains or things that are "cheap". We retain the restaurants, walks, and shopping recommendations on the site only if we have been there recently or know the current quality of the establishment. The restaurants that we have selected are different or unique or fun. While there are few "starred" restaurants on our list, we have included a few of the really great restaurants of Paris. You can find other excellent restaurants in Paris in the Guide Michelin without our help. The subjects underlined in blue are links to other websites. If you want more information on any of these subjects, just double click. Don't read this guide too literally. Put on some comfortable walking shoes and just explore this beautiful city.
